The Microbiota, Probiotics and Prebiotics

This webinar series consists of 3 short videos, covering the microbiota and the use of probiotics and prebiotics in dogs and cats.

In part 1, we will look at the microbiota: what it is, how it helps us and our patients and what happens when it becomes imbalanced (also known as dysbiosis). In part 2 we will cover probiotics and prebiotics: what they are and how they can be beneficial to our veterinary patients. Finally, in part 3, we shall finish up by looking at some of the evidence supporting the use of probiotics and prebiotics in dogs and cats.
