Cobalamin Deficiency and the Options for Supplementation

This webinar series consists of 3 approximately 20 minute videos, covering everything you need to know about cobalamin in dogs and cats.

In part 1, we’ll look at the absorption and function of cobalamin in normal animals, and explore how deficiencies arise in specific conditions. In part 2, we’ll consider the prevalence and significance of these deficiencies in a clinical setting. And finally, in part 3, we’ll discuss the different options available to vets for supplementation; starting with the traditional injectable form, before moving on to cover the new evidence demonstrating the efficacy of oral cobalamin supplementation.
