Description

A palatable, dandelion‑flavoured powder for rabbits that helps support oral hydration with a blend of electrolytes and vitamins, and contains pre‑ and probiotics to promote a healthy gut and microbiome. 

Probiotic
Bio-Lapis contains the live yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae (CNCM I4407) 4b1702 to help maintain a balanced and healthy gut environment. 

 

Prebiotic
Preplex is a prebiotic blend of oligofructose and acacia (Gum Arabic) that helps nourish beneficial gut bacteria and support digestive health. 

 

Electrolytes
Bio‑Lapis provides a balanced blend of electrolytes, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and calcium, to help support hydration and maintain normal fluid balance in rabbits. 

 

Vitamins
A combination of vitamins A, B₂, C, D₃, and E helps support overall health, including immune function, energy metabolism, and general wellbeing. 

 

Artificial Dandelion Flavour
The dandelion flavour encourages acceptance and supports palatability. 

Instructions For Use

Bio-Lapis is available in: 6 x 2g sachet boxes and 60 x 2g sachet boxes

  • Use one sachet per day for as long as advised by your veterinary surgeon. To prepare, mix one sachet with 50 ml of water to create an isotonic solution. 

  • The solution should be made up fresh each day. It can be offered in your rabbit’s drinking water or given directly using a syringe if preferred. A separate source of fresh drinking water should always be available.

No.  Bio-Lapis contains a probiotic specifically for herbivores and is not licensed for dogs or cats. 

Yes, Bio‑Lapis can be given long term if recommended by your vet. Your veterinary surgeon will guide you on how long to continue based on your rabbit’s specific requirements. 

For the best results, Bio‑Lapis should be mixed with water to create the correct solution. It’s quick and easy to prepare and helps ensure your rabbit stays well hydrated.
