Protexin Veterinary ANZ have recently been alerted that there are a small number of sellers on eBay Australia
(https://www.ebay.com.au/) and Amazon Australia (https://www.amazon.com.au/)
selling counterfeit Pro-Kolin Advanced for Dogs, and Pro-Kolin+ for Dogs and Cats. We
are extremely concerned about this, and we wanted to share an update with you all.

There have been some counterfeit Pro-Kolin Advanced 15ml, 30ml, 60ml for dogs
identified on Amazon Australia; Pro-Kolin Advanced 30ml, 60ml for dogs, Pro-Kolin+
for Dogs and Cats 60ml identified on eBay. These products have NOT been
manufactured by ADM Protexin Ltd / Protexin Veterinary. There have been no reports of
adverse health effects in the dogs and cats that have been given the product.

Although the products in question have been made to look similar to authentic
products, their packages are different from the authentic products in Australia. Please
check the package and look for distributor information as ADM Australia Pty Ltd, and a
claim of “Single strain probiotic”.

Pro-Kolin Advanced for Dogs and Cats, Pro-Kolin+ for Dogs and Cats are available via
key veterinary wholesalers, veterinary clinics and official online stores only. Please
be assured that all Protexin Veterinary products purchased directly from vets (including
their official eBay stores), and from legitimate veterinary pharmacy sites are genuine
and have passed through our rigorous quality checks.

We have notified the platforms, and we are doing everything possible to ensure they
remove these illegally copied products and the unauthorised sellers.

Please notify your pet owner clients and advise them to purchase directly from your
clinics or online stores. If your customers think they have a counterfeit product or are
uncertain, we strongly advise them to stop feeding it to their pet and contact eBay or
where they purchased from. In addition, they can contact our customer support team at
anz@adm.com where we can provide further support and information. As always, we
actively encourage pet owners to speak to their vet if they have any concerns.

Pet health and safety is our number one priority. We work extremely hard to ensure our
products are scientifically formulated, effective and safe. All of our products and
ingredients undergo rigorous and thorough safety checks and tests to meet our high
quality standards and to safeguard the wellbeing of all pets.

We pride ourselves on our reputation and we share the concern of our customers and
pet owners that our name has been misused like this to create illegally counterfeited
products. We continue to work with the authorities to ensure Amazon and eBay remove
these products and sellers.
